3-screen video installation experiencing what it is like to be a researcher trying to make sense of politics
Anthropologists who study parliaments and politicians must make sense of messy interactions, contradictory actions, mixed motives and moments in which seemingly nothing happens. This video-installation immerses the viewer in a similar experience, juxtaposing images from research with interviews from participants and researchers elaborating on their experiences. This installation was part of the “Living Democracy” exhibition at the Brunei Gallery, London.
