Documentary film on local politics in Sheffield with SOAS University of London

Welcome to an exciting meeting of Sheffield Council! On the first Wednesday of each month, the 84 councillors assemble in the Town Hall. Presided over by the Lord Mayor, what happens over the course of an afternoon mixes theatrical display, angry debate, moments of comedy and serious drama. Filmed from the floor of the chamber and interspersed with interviews from leading participants, “Full Council” provides an unusually human glimpse into the rituals, processes and people that affect a city. Come and watch the theatre that we call politics.  It’s local politics like you’ve never seen it before.
